A hands-on day in Jonathan's south east London studio, making original prints using the same process at the heart of his own practice.

Using paper stencils to build layered, abstract compositions, this workshop primarily focuses on shape, colour, and how the two interact. You'll cut your own stencils, mix inks, and build up a series of prints through layering and experimentation.

You'll leave with a small collection of original works on paper, made by hand, and entirely your own.

What to expect

• Introduction to stencil-based screen printing technique

• Guided exercises in composition, colour mixing, and layering

• Plenty of time to experiment and develop your own prints

• A relaxed, studio environment with a maximum of six participants
